So, the mandatory evacuation line is now a few hundred feet (maybe less) from my apartment. I've managed to pack up most of my computers (the ones with irreplacable data, at least) and am now throwing the last few bits that will fit into my car. Hopefully, all my preparation will be for naught, but it may be difficult going in the meantime. I intend to stay in contact via AIM and LJ, but who knows what with vicissitudes of fate.
